１．How to start
SECUDRIVE USB Basic V is available by following some simple steps: first plug in the USB and then input the password.
The password should have more than 6 alphanumeric characters.
Enter the password and you will able to view the secure zone. When the data is saved into the USB flash drive, the embedded crypto chip will automatically encrypted all of the data saved in SECUDRIVE USB Basic.
The TMUSB anti-virus program will automatically run when you log in, and store the files into the USB flash drive securely.

The following video is on, how to proceed with the initial setup when using SECUDRIVE USB Basic V for the first time.
SECUDRIVE USB Basic V provides you, the ‘Auto Lock’ feature.
If a user is absent while having the USB flash drive still plugged on the PC, there could be a possibility of data leakage by another user.
With Auto Lock setup, your USB flash drive will automatically log out when your PC isn’t active for a determined period. To configure the time period for the automatic lock, first plug in USB Basic and then right-click on the icon that appears on the icon tray. Click on ‘Auto Lock’ to set a time period for the automatic lock, the time can be set from 2 minutes to 5 hours. When action is not detected of the user’s PC, USB Basic will automatically log out and keep your data secure.

To terminate SECUDRIVE USB Basic, right-click on the USB Basic icon and select ‘Exit’ to have your USB drive logged out. After logging out, you can safely remove the USB Basic from the PC port.
When you close SECUDRIVE USB Basic, TMUSB anti-virus program will be automatically terminated.

４．How to Initialize the USB Drive
You can initialize the USB drive, when the program has failed to update, when you lose or forget your password, or if you need to initialize the CD -ROM area and the secure zone. You can download the initialization tool at Download page.
To initialize the USB drive, connect SECUDRIVE USB Basic V to the PC and run the initialization tool. After initialization is completed, unplug the USB drive and plug it back to use.
※If you initialize the USB drive, the data saved in the USB drive will be erased forever and it will not be possible to be recovered by any means. Before initialization, back up your data and continue.
